Information You Submit
A name, telephone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the information in your message and use it to answer the message.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting services create ordinary logs, such as an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and time of visit. We use aggregate information to maintain the directory and understand general page use. Cookies or similar tools may also support basic analytics and, if used, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
The limited data supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services and Links
Links may lead to county and state records portals, archives, libraries, or third-party search services. The policy of the destination controls anything submitted there, including information sent through sponsored search results provided by another company.
When Data Is Shared
Service providers that host or support the directory process its server logs. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic data described above. Information is otherwise disclosed only when valid legal process requires it.
Security and Retention
The directory uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operating purposes described here. There are no visitor accounts, passwords, or account profiles for this directory to expose.
Visitors Under 18
This directory is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if a minor has sent information, and we will remove it.
Your Privacy Requests
You may ask about access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that we hold. This policy does not rely on a verified Pennsylvania statewide private-sector consumer-privacy statute. Because we keep little information, a request generally involves checking the contact mailbox and available server logs, then removing applicable material. Use the Contact page to ask. Records held by Pennsylvania, Lancaster County, or Manor Township offices remain under the control of their custodian; a request about those public records belongs with that office. Pennsylvania public-office requests are governed by the Right-to-Know Law, Act 3 of 2008, 65 P.S. §§ 67.101–67.3104.
Changes to This Policy
Any revision will appear on this page. Continued use after the revised policy is posted means acceptance of the update.
